James Fogg started Playing Drums at the age of 5. At Age 10, Lessons Started with "Robert Ramsdell", a Drum and Percussion Instructor Located in Sanford Maine.
"Everitt Firth, Vic Firth's Father" was The Musical Director
of "The Sanford High School Marching Band & Orchestra".
At the Age of 16, James Fogg, Auditioned and was
Accepted by the "Portland Symphony Orchestra".
Summers were spent at Tanglewood as a Member of the
"Tanglewood Student Symphony Orchestra"
Studying with: "Vic Firth", Principal Percussionist of
"The Boston Symphony Orchestra"
Guest Conductors of the "Tanglewood Student Orchestra"
Aaron Copeland, Leonard Bernstein, Lucas Foss, and
Resident Conductor of "The Boston Symphony Orchestra"
Charles Munch.
